What we do
The revised European Legislation (EU 2018/851) for recycling aimsat recycling ofmunicipal waste by2035 (65%), in combination with the objectives of the approved National Waste Management Plan for separate collection of bio-waste (40% in 2020) and recyclables (paper/cardboard, metals, plastics, glass, 65% re-use/recycling) determine the immediate actions for the generated Municipal Solid Waste (MSW). The constitution of the produced MSW identifies the streams of recyclables and bio-waste that make up 91% and their rational management will contribute to the achievement of the targets.
Southstar applies the best available techniques and European standards in order to fully comply with European Directives. Our job is to make waste management “simple case” for every city.
